In response to the water supply disruption affecting Penang, MTT Shipping promptly supplied 19 flexitank containers, locally known as 'Gajah Flexitanks', each carrying an impressive 24,000 litres of clean water to Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang (PBAPP).
The extensive disruption, impacting approximately 590,000 consumers in Seberang Prai and Penang Island, began on Jan 10 due to crucial repairs at the Sungai Dua Water Treatment Plant (WTP).
