ASSET MANAGEMENT

MTT Shipping marked another significant milestone – diversifying the business to vessel owning for charter upon taking the delivery of two newbuildings MTT Saisunee and MTT Senari in 2019 and 2020 respectively. MTT Shipping is committed to building strong partnerships with world class shipyards in order to offer Charterers with state-of the-art vessels with modern and fuel-efficient designs. At MTT Shipping, we fully utilise our team’s combined years of maritime experience, as well as our extensive knowledge of the ever-dynamic charter market in order to determine how best to maximise the potential of our vessels for both Owners and Charterers.

MTT Shipping is also committed to providing eco-vessels to the market, sharing the same concerns as the IMO with regards to the environmental impact our industry may have to our eco systems. As such, some of our vessels are also fitted with hybrid scrubber systems in order to comply with IMO 2020 0.5% sulphur emission limits, keeping the vessel’s emissions as clean as modern technology allows. The hybrid scrubber systems will also allow charterers to take advantage of the much more cost-effective Heavy Fuel Oil whilst allowing our vessels to sail through waters of which have restricted the use of Open Loop scrubbers.

MTT Shipping believes there are bright prospects in the global container shipping industry and intends to stay ahead of the curve by constantly exploring the latest technologies available for newbuildings in order to provide customers with the most efficient vessels available on the market for chartering.
