MTT Shipping collaborated with the Food Aid Foundation to organize a soup kitchen event for the local community of Lembah Klang.
With 16 dedicated MTT colleagues as volunteers, our primary goal was to provide support to those in need by preparing and distributing nourishing meals to welfare homes in the Lembah Klang area.
The team worked diligently to prepare and pack a total of 500 packs of wholesome meals.
The beneficiaries of this initiative included four welfare homes: Ti-Ratana Welfare Society, PJ Caring Home, Rumah Mary, and Lighthouse Children Welfare Home.
The 200 meal packs were delivered directly to the Ti-Ratana Welfare Society, while the remaining 300 meal packs were collected by representatives from each of the three welfare homes, ensuring that these meals reached those who would benefit from them the most.
MTT Shipping would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Food Aid Foundation for their invaluable partnership, which played a crucial role in making this event possible.
This soup kitchen event would also not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our 16 MTT heroes who travelled from opposite ends of the Klang Valley at dawn on Saturday morning. Thank you for embodying the spirit of compassion and giving that resonates within our company!
