WHAT IS MAN-IN-THE-MIDDLE (MiTM)?

MiTM attacks are when sneaky hackers hijack your connection to steal info by routing your data through their computer. By intercepting traffic, they can steal sensitive information and change data on the fly.

PROTECT YOURSELF!

  • Avoid open Wi-Fi networks that are not password-protected.

  • Never use public Wi-Fi for sensitive transactions that require personal information.

  • Use a VPN: A Virtual Private Network encrypts your online activity, protecting your data even on public Wi-Fi.

  • Practice good password habits: Never reuse passwords and use a password manager for strong, unique passwords.

  • Enable multi-factor authentication: Adding an extra layer of security to your accounts.

  • Use a firewall: Ensuring safe internet connections.
